The player can also choose to utilise the traps which are set around the Arena, which are normally unarmed unless a spectator is using them. Although the explosion is less powerful than that of an RC Bandito, it is still able to take out targets effectively. Players can also spawn in an unlimited amount of Battle Drones, each equipped with an EMP and self-destruct feature. The RC Bandito has the same features as in all other gamemodes. Players can spawn in an unlimited amount of RC Banditos, which can each set up three mines. The team that is put in the Spectator Box can use traps, turrets, RC Banditos, and Battle Drones to keep the Arena Team from collecting checkpoints.
When the team is eliminated or the round timer has ended, the teams will be swapped. They can, however, fly around spectator drones.
When someone from the Arena Team is eliminated, they will also be moved into the spectator box, albeit without the features of using the Arena War Wheel and using power ups. The goal for the Arena Team is to collect as many checkpoints as possible before the 3-minute timer runs out or the entire team is eliminated.
